Adam Zegadło (1910–1989) was a Polish sculptor and factory worker. His creative practice began when he started carving toy figures for his son. He refined his technique and later often intertwined different motifs to represent larger themes, drawing on sources including sacred art or the customs of the Jewish community that had lived in eastern Poland until the Holocaust.
